Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 9, 2026
Pumply (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Pumply mobile application and our related websites, including our sign-up and checkout pages (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Services you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide
- Account information — When you create an account, we may receive your name and email address as provided by your authentication provider. You may choose to hide your email when using certain sign-in methods.
- Profile information — During onboarding you may provide your name, age range, fitness level, goals, and workout preferences. All profile fields are optional.
- Workout data — Information and content that you submit to the App and any resulting data you choose to save.
- Website and checkout information — If you sign up or purchase through our website, we collect the email address and any name you provide, your responses to our onboarding questions, and the billing details needed to process your purchase (payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor — see below).
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers used solely for crash reporting and analytics.
- Usage data — App interactions such as screens viewed and features used, collected in aggregate to improve the App.
- Purchase data — Subscriptions are managed through our payment processors — the Apple App Store, Google Play, and (for purchases made directly on our website) Stripe. We receive subscription state (active/expired) and limited transaction details such as your billing email, but we do not process or store your full payment card details.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers — On our website, we and our advertising and analytics partners use cookies and similar technologies to collect identifiers such as cookie and click identifiers, IP address, and browser/device information, to measure and optimize our marketing. See “Advertising and Analytics” below.
c. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not access your contacts or precise location.
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the service — Deliver core functionality and save your workouts.
- Personalize your experience — Tailor recommendations based on your fitness level, goals, and preferences.
- Improve the App — Understand usage patterns to fix bugs and develop new features.
- Manage subscriptions — Verify your subscription status to unlock premium features.
- Communicate with you — Respond to support requests you initiate.
For visitors to our website, we and our advertising and analytics partners also use information to measure the performance of our marketing, attribute sign-ups and purchases to the campaigns that drove them, and improve and optimize our advertising. See “Advertising and Analytics” below.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers for authentication, data storage, content processing, payment processing, and subscription management. This includes third-party artificial intelligence services that may process content you submit to generate workout information, and payment processors (the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe). Each service provider is governed by their own privacy policies. We only share information with these providers as necessary to operate and improve the Services.
Advertising and Analytics. On our website we work with advertising and analytics partners — including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, PostHog, and AppsFlyer — to understand how visitors find us, measure sign-ups and purchases, and optimize our marketing. To match your activity to a conversion, we may share identifiers such as a hashed (pseudonymized) email address, click identifiers, IP address, and browser/device information with these partners. Under some privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) this activity may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.
You can opt out of this advertising sharing by contacting us at support@pumply.me, and you can further limit it through your device or browser settings (for example, by limiting ad tracking or clearing cookies) and the advertising platforms’ own opt-out tools. Our service providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for purposes other than providing services to us.
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of linked third-party websites or services.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
- Account data — Retained for as long as your account is active.
- Workout data — Retained until you delete it or delete your account.
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may do so from the App’s profile settings or by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Some data may be retained as necessary for legitimate business purposes, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or compliance with legal obligations.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and update — You can view and update your profile information within the App at any time.
- Delete your data — You can delete your account and all associated data from the App’s profile settings.
- Skip sign-in — You can use the App without creating an account. An anonymous session is created for functionality, but no personal information is associated with it.
7. Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
9. International Users
If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
10. California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to and deletion of it, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. As described in “Advertising and Analytics” above, we may “share” certain identifiers with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out of that sharing, or to exercise any of your rights, contact us at support@pumply.me; you may also limit advertising through your browser and device settings and the advertising platforms’ own opt-out tools. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You acknowledge and consent to any such transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
